Shelmar Shelties is a small hobby kennel located in Tarboro, North
Carolina ( about 1 hour from Raleigh). We live on 12.5 acres in a rural
setting. We have plenty of room for the dogs to run, but choose to keep our
numbers low, since we like all dogs to come inside and become well
socialized.
Shelmar's mentor was Mary Hayes of Malpsh. Our foundation bitch was
acquired from Mary back in 1980. This bitch became Malsph Scandal, a Ch.
Rosmoor Robert of Migadala daughter. Scandal produced our first homebred CH.
(Ch Shelmar Silver Lace O'Malpsh, HC. Lacey's contribution to the breed was
her 2 Champion sons, Ch Shelmar Only In A Dream and Ch Ashwood Slight of
Hand, CD, ROM.
Ocassionally we do have puppies for sale to show, performance or
companion homes. We prefer to show more than we do to breed but we do
welcome all inquiries
All of our pets are sold with a spay/neuter contract.
